イギリス・ケント発のシンガーソングライター Marlody マーロディさんのデビューアルバム「I’m Not Sure At All」 (Skep Wax Records) は、およそ１年前の今年の1月13日にリリースにされたのですがそのときのシングル曲が「Summer」でなんでやねん！とか気になって聞いたらぜんぜん夏っぽくなくてそこが良かったんですね。彼女の深くて暗く美しいポップソングは絶望、不安、弱さ、恐怖を希望の可能性にかえてくれそうな甘いハーモニーのあるピアノポップです。

きみといっしょにメランコリー。シンセを使ったフィールドレコーディングで少し話題になったことがあるアイルランドのスローでエクスペリメンタルなエスリアルのインディーポップアーティスト、エレーヌ・ハウリーさん。サイケデリックロックバンド、The Alteredhours、とか Crevice と Howlbux のメンバー。今年は映画「This Years Lull」の音楽を担当。ネガティブで暗い主人公の深い喪失感をグサっとえぐるような鬱音楽になっててしびれて麻痺しました。
