こちらのブログもいよいよバイバイですよ。北米唯一のフランス語圏、カナダ・ケベック州モントリオール（Montréal）発のドリームポップ。歌はフランス語なんだけど、Men I Trust、La Femme、Mild High Club の影響を受けているのでドリームポップのなかでもポップ要素大で明るめです。Grand Eugène は、ドリームポップのインディーロックバンド。 バンドは、ギターと作曲の Jeremy Lachance ジェレミー・ラチャンス、ボーカルの Melyssa Lemieux メリッサ・レミュー、ドラムの Olivier Tanguay オリヴィエ・タンゲイ、キーボードの Nassim Dib-Mudie ナシム・ディブ＝ミューディー、ベースの Niall Mutter グレッグ・トレンブレイ＝メドールズで構成されています。バンドじたいはバンクーバで生まれでギタリストはそこでドリームポップを書き始めモントリオールで録音されました。どれも非常に興味深く、穏やかにキャッチーです。 Part Time や Tops の瞑想的で魅力的なメロディーと、Vanille こと Rachel Leblanc の歌詞の繊細さを呼び起こす、フランス語を話すローファイドリームポップ。
