TESHA – Dreams
in the mirror it’s Sunday,
in dream there is room for sleeping,
our mouths speak the truth

TESHA is the personification of Israeli artist Neta Tia Elias, who most recently shared her video for “Dreams” the title track from her EP “Dreams Vol. 1″. The track, like its video suggests takes a transcendental air, with the drip of her whispering murmur percolating through the single’s deep and resonant architecture. Brooklyn-based TESHA shares her mesmerising new single, ‘Dreams’. TESHA effortlessly displays breathless vocal whispers with imaginary Japanese strings and a steady electronic backbeat.

“Funeral” is a captivating, nocturnal-sounding track from Brooklyn-based Tesha. Clanging, moody guitar work is gradually accompanied by ghostly synths, paving the way for haunting vocals to emerge around the one-minute mark. I’m reminded of The Knife’s ability to infuse creeping vocals with enjoyably unsettling soundscapes. Synths assume a more glistening quality in the final one-third, alongside the swelling of backing vocal harmony involvement. “Funeral” is a gripping, atmospheric success. “Wonder,” – streaming below – is also a catching effort, touting an exotic melodic form and a more acoustical tilt.
