daydream, Ramen あたりが有名なダラス育ち注目のスーパースター DJ、プロデューサー medasin とのコラボ曲 medasin – Tired (ft. Sophie Meiers) で甘くてメランコリックで綺麗なボーカルで彼女が話題になったのは 2018年ころ。ソロオリジナルでは、Clairo や girl in red と似たような甘くせつないシンガーソングライターだったのと、lo-fi でヒップホップ jazzy テイストなサウンド風のコラボでメキメキメキメキと話題をつくった彼女、ソフィーマイヤーズ。（写真㊤）それがこのたびオフスプな Epitaph Records と契約。そしたらば顔つきもなにやらおかしくなり、あどけなさは完全消滅、スレスレの阿婆擦れのダウナー Lo-Fi グランジ、ロック色にグンニャリ歪んでた。すばらしい。というか。鼻ピアスかわいい。音も見た目もロックにすっかり変わりました。じぇじぇじぇ。
