I have no idea how my music made it across the sea to Japan, but I was so pleasantly surprised to find a review in a Japanese blog called Music-islands! The writer Masayoshi Yamamiya compares me to a TV show called “Kaseifu no Mitazono”. It’s about a house maid with a secret: She is actually a man! Love it! (ZUSTRA)

「This Must Be Underwater Love」は、クロアチア生まれでドイツ・ベルリンで活動するミュージシャンでプロデューサーであるアリアナ・ズストラ（Ariana Zustra）がカバーしたトリップホップです。ZUSTRA is the music project of Croatian-born singer-songwriter Ariana Zustra and considered as one of the most promising newcomers in Germany (tip Berlin). Raised in the heart of the Mediterranean sea, she had to flee her hometown Dubrovnik at the age of four and taught herself to play the guitar and piano and started to write songs at the age of nine. ZUSTRA’s “This Must Be Underwater Love” and a cover of one of the juiciest hits of the 90’s (Underwater Love by Smoke City). She is currently working on her second album entitled “I Am Water”, which reflets on the interconnectedness of all things: the unity of humans and nature, the way we all try to find our way through division, uprooting, loneliness, and healing.
